Tip: A common problem is a late pullback. Start pushing off the floor (to do the pullback) as you’re doing the toe. Now technically you don’t want the pullback to be at the same time as the toe, but it usually takes an extra moment from when you start pushing off the floor until an actual pullback sound is made. That’s why if you wait to start pushing until the toe is done the pullback ends up being late.
